Here I am at one of the Internet workstations in Changi Airport waiting for my flight to Bangkok, Thailand. My first vacation in over a year! Will be back from the Land of Smiles in 4 days - I think it's going to be mostly a shopping trip.

sghama, i visited thailand twice when i was much younger. loved it, though i've heard it's gone from bad to worse to somewhat better. have fun on your vacation !
thanks yogi, bangkok was good. i had the best sharksfin soup there - probably not what environmentalists and other "save the planet" types want to hear but it was awesome! huge chunks of sharksfin in a large claypot. all for only 500 baht.
